All of these music videos were created, shot with a Canon MV 400i and edited on Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 by me.
Good Time
A music video shot in 2003. When I first heard Good Time by Leroy, I sort of fell in love with the rhythm. I couldn't help but kept imagining my friends' funny facial expressions while listening to this song. And that's how I got the idea for this video. We shoot all the scenes in a white room, it took only one night. The editing was the difficult part. I used a new software, Avid Elastic Reality, that was necessary for the morphing. I wanted the video to have fast pace and strong b/w contrast. And of course it had to be funny. I think I achieved my goal.
Everyday Life
A music video shoot in 2006. I was in Japan at the time. I wanted to show my friends how normal my life could remain, even if everything was different and new. All the scenes were shoot in my room, at the university dormitory. It was summer, the light was strong and I had nothing to do that day, except studying Japanese and reading mangas. This video is basically short sketches of life, close shots and an awesome song, New Slang by The Shins.
